Hi Jessica, 5/17/2011
Thank you for your note. We love Molly! She has adapted very well to her new home. She has many friends both
human and furry. She has gained 2 pounds and has gotten tall. I have attached a few photo's of Molly and her best
friend Sandie. Molly has brought so much joy to our home. We needed her as much as she needed us.
We will keep in touch!

Here is Katie in a down-stay at her intermediate oedience class. The color looks a bit odd in the picture but she is still
a beautiful, silky black! She is a wonderful dog and we are having fun at class.
Thanks for all you do,

Hi Jessica, 5/5/2011
Wyatt is doing fine! He is > 95% housebroken and beginning to show some obedience. Overall, he appears to be
bright and catches on quickly. He is very goofy and our family adores him. He may be perfect....if he ever stops
mouthing / biting :-) I'm sure this will pass, as soon has he gets through teething. He has lost two of this front teeth
already.
This past week, he received his last vaccination and is good to go for another year.
I have attached a picture of our goofy boy. This is a typical day :-) He also enjoys going down the kids slide. We may
try him at agility training, as this appears to be something he enjoys.
Regards,
Brian

Sorry for the delay... 5/12/2011
She's (Sora) doing great and adjusting well! She did wreck my blinds trying to look out the window but it was my fault
for letting them accessible to a puppy.
She forces me to play catch with her before work, and after work, and after dinner, and after she goes to the
bathroom, and after she wakes up...

Meeka is doing well, she is 8lbs 6oz and a ball of engery. She starts her puppy classes Wed. which should be
interesting. Almost house trained, and of course spoiled already. Everything checked out well with the vet and just got
her rabies shot. Hope all is well with you .

Hey. I just wanted to let you know we have a vet appointment for Tink on March 19th @ 2 pm to get the introduced to
her. Also she is amazingly smart. She goes right to the front door when she needs to use the bathroom. She gets
along great with Blackie and Mickey too. My wife and I decided to change her name to Daisy. My wife loves Disney
character names. Lol. Thank you again so very much. I have attached a pic of Blackie taking a nap with Tink (Daisy)
too.

Hi Jessica,
I adopted Charlie from Saving Fur Kids on November 5th (his name was Bart). He's a great puppy. We love him so
much!!! He has a great personality and he's gotten so big. I think he had a sister named Sissy that was there that day.
Did someone in NJ adopt her too? I attached some pictures. Thanks for taking care of him before we got him :)

Hi, 3/8/2011
Thought you'd like to know how Jack is doing. We renamed him Tucker, and he already knows that as his name
(hope you don't mind.)
He gets along great with my other 2 dogs: Jasper and Lilah. He's still a puppy, and could use a few lessons in doggy
manners, but Jasper and Lilah are pretty tolerant of his antics. The cats are wary of him, but, for a puppy, he's really
very good with them. He sometimes runs when they run, but he's let them sniff him, and they have come pretty close
to him when he's sleeping, so that will work out well I'm sure.
We had him to the vet on Sunday for a checkup. The vet said he looks good and thought he was remarkably well
behaved. He's lost about 4 teeth that I know of since he came home, which puts him at about 5 months, which is what
we had figured. Tucker sleeps through the night wonderfullly--not a peep, and is quite comfortable in the pen we have
set up for him in our bedroom. He has a zillion toys that he plays with--and Jasper and Lilah share every one with
him. He knows "sit" and "drop it," with "drop it" being a very important command, since he picks up everything--typical
puppy behavior. He is very social, loves people, loves to snuggle up to you. He's had only one accident since we got
him, so I think he's pretty close to being trained.
In short, we love him. He seems very happy and fit in perfectly with our family--and it's only been a little over 2 days. I
will be posting a story about him (and pictures) on my blog in the next day or so and I'll email you when I do. In the
mean time, you can find some pictures of him in a Facebook album here:
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=368475&id=648630967&l=e013e18e34. Feel free to friend me as well, as I
post pictures of all my creatures there often, and also note on Facebook when there's a new blog post.
Thanks again for bringing this sweet boy into our lives. Please know that he is loved, and in a happy and caring
home. My brother, who is a veterinarian in California, likes to say that when I adopt an animal, he or she has hit the
lottery. Tucker is a joy!
Thanks again.
Susan

Hi Jessica, February 15, 2011
It was so nice to get your note - thank you for thinking of us and checking in. Sorry it took us so long to get back to
you!
We changed Bandit's name to Charlie and he is just the best little dog! He has adjusted well to life here with us and
McIntyre the cat (but she is not as enthusiastic yet about her rambunctious little brother). Charlie is over 30 pounds
now and still growing - he already outgrew his puppy collar! We take him to Dr. K at West Trenton Animal Hospital
who says he is a nice, healthy little dog. He got an infection about a week after we brought him home, but it cleared
up quickly with antibiotics. Charlie also had a tapeworm, but he got some pills and is fine now. He's all done with
puppy shots but will be getting the lyme vaccine in a few weeks and continues taking daily vitamins and monthly
heartworm pills.
Charlie is a great dog - everyone he meets just loves him ...you were right, he is the pick of the litter! He is full of
energy and curiosity and is very smart. We take him with us almost everywhere we go, so he gets lots of exercise and
loves riding in the car. Charlie likes to go on long walks and adventures, play fetch at the dog beach and hang
around with our puppy friends. He is doing well with training and responds to most basic commands. We love our
little guy and are so grateful he is part of our family.
We are always looking for fun new places to take Charlie, so if you know of any dog-friendly spots in your area where
he can roam off-leash, please let us know. Thank you again and hope all is well with you and the rest of the fur kids!
Please keep in touch :-)

I received your lovely note! Jezzy is just the sweetest and most adorable dog! We can't even walk down the street
without being stopped 100 times by everyone telling us that she is the cutest thing they've ever seen. She has the
greatest temperament and is so friendly. She's almost housebroken- she's making outside (almost all of the time). She
loves to play and is such a delight. I've attached a picture of her and Teddy. Thanks again and we'll make sure to
keep you posted as she grows!

Hi, just wanted to send an updated photo of Candy. We are figuring she's about a year old now and will be celebrating her b'day
tomorrow.
I wanted to let you know I lost my brother suddenly earlier this year and then was quite sick with the flu. Candy never left my side. She is
truly one of the best things that have ever happened to me and a true best friend.
Thanks again for finding her and bringing her to us.

Jessica,
I just wanted to let you know that Misty is doing wonderful. She has adjusted well and has even learned where the dog treats are. She is
adored by everyone in the house and spends her days playing, strolling through the neighborhood on walks and sleeping. She is a
wonderful addition to the house and loved by all. I'm attaching some photos for you guys.

Hi Jessica! Got your thank you card and request for pictures. Attached are a few pictures so you can see that Bailey is doing well. She
is not the quiet, shy little girl. Actually, she is around strangers and other dogs and I am working on socializing her. With me and my
son she is quite vocal! She is a typical stubborn puppy. The dachsund in her comes out when she is digging holes in the yard and
comes up with dirt all over her snout! She loves to run up and down my son's slide in the yard. My son, Charlie, is crazy about her and
she returns the love. He even gave her a middle name...he calls her Bailey Theresa...don't know where he got that from! I have a dog
trainer that has come in a couple of times to give me some pointers. Bailey is getting there but we have a ways to go! We love her
though and she travels well in the car which is great as we go to NY every weekend or every other weekend.
So, enjoy the pictures and thank you for our pup!

Hello Jessica,
I got your lovely card yesterday and first off want to apologize for not having been in touch prior to now. We renamed the puppy Penny
and not only do we absolutely adore her, but so does everyone in both of our families and everyone we ever meet walking her in the city
or the 'burbs. I attached a few photos so you can see her (one demonstrates one of the goofy positions in which she likes to sleep,
tongue hanging out and all!). Thanks again, she truly is an amazing pet and we love her very much.
Best,
Stephen July 12, 2011

Hi Jennifer,
I'm writing because back in March I adopted a puppy from Savingfurkids and I wanted to send you an update!
The puppy in question is a labrador/corgi mix that you were calling "Max."
We brought our little boy home on March 12th, when he was approximately 17 weeks old.
We named him "Drama."
He has been a wonderful addition to the family ever since.
Here is at 17 weeks the day we brought him home.
He knows how to sit, lay down, shake, stay, etc... he learns VERY fast.
Other than a few common health issues [worms when we got him home] he is perfectly healthy and has been to the vet every month for
check ups. His last visit was on Tuesday and the vet said he was doing great. He weighed in at 31 lbs and the doctor said he would
most likely grow another 10lbs before stopping. He really is the perfect size.
He has some pretty serious abandonment issues, as you could imagine. He absolutely cannot stand being alone. He loves and wants
to be around people every minute of the day. It's been a lot of work but we're starting to get him to understand that we are not going to
leave him ... and a couple hours alone is a good thing.
One thing we are very interested in is what became of Drama's sister? When we picked him up he was in a cage next to his sister who
looked just like him. Sometimes I regret not taking them both. Is there any way I could obtain the email address of the person that
adopted her? i'd love to see picture of her, and maybe even set up a reunion / play date for them.
Thank you SO much for bringing me together with Drama. I'm almost 30 years old and I dont plan on having kids. Having a dog in my
life has been a big positive and we do everything together. I'd love to hear back from you, take care!
- noah. june 10 2011

Animal Resue Operation Brings A New Friend
July 24th, 2011
So, now meet Buoy (boo – ee). About 3 month old male Lab - Boxer mix – isn’t he gorgeous!
what a great dog. Smart, loyal and – for a puppy – incredibly calm demeanor with amazing discipline. House trained in 1 day. Learned to
obey the sit command and stay by my side as I walk almost immediately – a real mind reader.
We are now working on “come”, “stay” and “fetch”!
Buoy doesn’t seem to like the water (yet!) and the only things he chews on are his toys and a pair of my old sneakers.
The beginning of a beautiful friendship!
-Bill

August 3, 2009 10:19:27 AM Subject: THANK YOU!!!!
Jessica,
It was a pleasure meeting you all on Saturday.
We wanted to thank you again for Jaycee.
We have named her Sandi.
So far, so good. She slept 5 hours last night. Fantastic for a new puppy.
She LOVES to play in the grass and have her belly rubbed. We got her a collar and leash. She is still adjusting to the collar.
This morning, she told hold of the leash and walked herself!
We give her lots of time to play in the yard, without the leash and collar. We want to slowly get her used to the collar and leash so when
she is bigger, we can take her on walks.
She has lots of chew toys for the teething. She has a plastic duck that squeeks. She always seems to want to take that one out into the
yard with her. She loves the leaves and sticks in the yard. Just like a small child, we have to keep watching what she puts in her
mouth. She is very curious. We do have her on the purina puppy chow. She is eating pretty well.
She already seems to be somewhat understanding that she has to go outside to go to the bathroom.
Her signal seems to be that she tugs on the doormat and we take her out. So far, so good.
I was touched by your letter and poem in the packet We hope all the puppies found new homes. We really did come very close to taking
two of them home. It is hard to say no. Maybe in the future, we will add again to our family.
What a wonderful thing you all do. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for everything,
Debbie

Hi Jessica!!
Cheyenne is doing wonderful! We couldn't be happier! She truly is a blessing in disguise.
With some sad news, on Saturday, our beloved family dog, Holly, passed away at the age of 15. She was my first love and always will
be. Although Holly can never be replaced and although there will never be another dog like her, Cheyenne has helped my family and I
deal with the grieving process. It has been a very difficult month for my family but Cheyenne has brought us some happiness. I am still
grieving the loss of my beloved babygirl Holly and it will take some time for me to heal but Cheyenne is making it easier for us to smile
and remember the good times.
I want to thank you again for your kind heart in rescuing her, as well as all the others. You are truly an angel in what you do. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Michelle K.

Dear Jessica, Friday, July 29, 2011 6:25 AM
This thank you note is long overdue. I wanted to share with you how Gracie Mae, the Malte-Poo we adopted through Saving Fur Kids in
June 2010, has impacted our lives.
Having been a family with cats through the years, I would have never guessed that the opportunity to have a puppy would present itself
over a year ago. Upon seeing Gracie for the first time, my daughter, Jessica, fell in love with her. I wasn't quite sure how a puppy would
fit into our lives. Jessica assured me that Gracie would be her responsibility. I thought how many times have I heard this from my 19
year old daughter, but I agreed and we brought Gracie home in June 2010.
Gracie was a little over two pounds the first time she went to our veternarian. She was adorable and so small. For the longest time, we
would have to pick her up as she couldn't go up and down steps. We added Mae to the Gracie, and she is now known as Gracie Mae.
Gracie Mae is now 15 months old, seven pounds, potty trained, behaves well, and has become the nucleus of our lives. She loves the
attention she gets from me, Jessica, and my husband and anyone coming through the door. She is smart, entertaining and
understands commands so well. When I tell you that we love Gracie Mae unbelieveably, I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Never
would I have thought over a year ago that a beautiful puppy would have had such an impact on the Kube Family. We love her
unconditionally, and Gracie Mae loves us back unconditionally.
As I look back, I think Gracie Mae came into our lives for a reason. This family shares in the love for Gracie Mae. I wanted to take this
long overdue moment to tell you how much happiness you have brought to our family. Thank you for doing what you do.

Just wanted to send you an update: After a VERY rough start in life, our beautiful Maggie is a happy, healthy girl! We are blessed! We did

her! Can you believe it???

Hi Jes, Tuesday, May 12, 2009, 3:45 PM
Here are some photos of Grady on vacation. He loved the beach and would run and chase the peeps until he was just a spot of white w/
two black specks off in the distance. Gus stayed right with him so I did not have to worry, they always came tearing back chasing the
pelicans or some other totally un-catchable sea bird. He also had fun digging into the big sand crab holes and he did not back off when
he came face to face with a big one.
He is the funniest little guy...we built a barrier of old lounge chairs on the deck, and he found the perfect spot for his siesta. He and Gus
are so sweet together and believe me, Gussy puts up with a pounding, never losing his temper even when Grady is hanging on to Gus'
stub of a tail! They play constantly, and he is Gussy's little shadow.
He now weighs 17 lbs and never misses a meal....Greg, who was hesitant about getting another dog, cradles Grady in his arms like a
baby, rubbing his belly and listens to him purring like a cat. What a blessing he is in our lives!
Thanks again for saving him!
Peg

Jessica,
I received your cute little card today asking about Lindi. We re-named her Molly which seems to be a popular name but it does fit her.
She is a bundle of energy all the time. She has fun with all the people, dogs and cats here in our household; she has adjusted very
well. She does like to chew on everything but her toys but that seems to be a common puppy trait. She gained 2 and a half pounds in 3
weeks according to the vets’ scale. We really love her and are happy we brought her into our household.
My grandson really loves her,( he’s 4 and a half), and she seems to love him too. I’ve tried to get a good picture of her but she moves
faster than the camera; if I manage to get a good one I will send it through to you.
Thank you again for all the animals you save and thank you for Molly,
Vicki LaBar

Jessica,
Thanks for the wonderful card and note inquiring about Cameron/Dash, the Schnauzer pup. All is going wonderfully; he and Maggie, our
other schnauzer, are playing constantly, and Dash is truly a sweet and loving dog. Also extremely fast and smart! We have had a trainer
here for our first session and will continue with training to get the basics and get them ready for agility work.
Thanks for all that you do (the mileage you chalk up is staggering, not to mention all the processing of adopters and finding wonderful
dogs, and writing notes as well!). Your work made for a very happy ending to ours and Dash's stories.

Sissy (now Ceci) is playful and happy. Her personality really blossomed in the past year. She smiles at us all the time – seriously. She’
s super happy and super sweet. It took her a few months to get relaxed. A few more months to bond and a few more months to be get
really happy and playful. She reached her full potential after 1 plus years with us. We adore her and she’s so smart. You would never
believe she is the same dog. Plus she also went from 19 lbs to a much healthier 15 pounds. She also gets along well with the other
two but likes people better.
I feel bad for fluffy. She went thru so much. I’m sure you see many sad stories and thanks to you most of them have happy endings.
Çelia
Hello,
This is Lauren. My mother had e-mailed you and she told me that you would like to see some photos of Ceci. I love her so much. she is
the light of my life. I am so happy to have her. She is so sweet and much more than a dog to me. She is like the sister i never had. She
surprises me everyday by how smart she is. She is brilliant and is a big part of my life. I appreciate that you helped to bring her into my
life. I hope that Fluffy is happy and doing well. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Subject: Re: Carson
LOL I wanted to get back to you asap last night so I was writing you the email and falling asleep at the same time. This little one tuckers
me out so I'm glad when I re-read my email it actually made sense LOL. He really is doing SO great! He's very teethy but to be expected.
No accidents at night or when he's in his crate when I'm out. Can't say the same for when I'm home but some of that has to do with me
getting to know his signals. He walks so well on his leash and he is so spritely and pouncy. Everyone thinks he is the cutest thing ever
which of course he is. His new name is Huckleberry. I'm adventurous girl so an adventurous dog makes sense. It wasn't even in the list
of options before I got him but it came to me as we played together. He loves doging in and out underneath the dining room chairs and
he is listening very well to no when he goes to chew the legs of the chairs. He has many doggy dreams and loves to sleep on his back
with an occasional whimper. The neighbors love him and give him balls and treats and he plays with a bull mastiff and german
shorthaired pointer. Had a slight meeting with a chow mix and has yet to meet the bernese mountain dog. He pridefully tromps around
the yard with a big stick twice his size and has just made his first climbs up and down my front porch steps. Such a proud momma. he's
learning kiss, fetch, bring it back, and sit and is doing really well with those. Ring the bell to go poddy is a work in progress ;) The cats
tolerate him and he uses his big boy voice when he cannot access them ;) I feel like such a lucky woman :)))) I'll email you some pics!
Again thank you! Please pass on the message to Jessica and/or the foster mum.

Hi Jessica,
Jake is awesome, he's wagging his tail all the time, he's more playful everyday. He loves his crate, in fact Grant (my son) was
concerned as to how we would get him to "first" go into his crate, well what we found out very quickly is basically just by opening the door
he went right in on his own (too funny). Jakes been going to the bathroom mostly outside, it's pretty easy to tell when he has to go. Most
of the time we leave the crate door open and he goes in and out, walks around the living room then goes back in his crate lays down on
the pillow, we secure the door when we're sleeping or going out. He's soo happy, wonderful dog. I've attached some pictures.
Best regards,
Keith

Just thought I would send an update on Yoshi (formerly Brandy) she is a total love!
She just got the rest of her shots and all her parasite tests came back negative. She is a happy healthy puppy.
She loves her neighbors and gets lots of play time with them.
I couldn't be happier with her and I couldn't possibly thank you enough for her.
P.S. I'm not sure she is a boxer/terrier, my vet and two people from play group seem to think she is a Plott Hound. I looked them up and
she matches the pictures exactly
Thank you again for my Puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to thank you again for all your help with Reggie. He has been such a great addition to our family. He is the sweetest dog

fully housebroken, but he is learning.
Thank you again for all your help. If and when the day comes that Reggie is ready for a brother or sister, I will definitely get back in touch

Hello!! thank you so much for emailing us! Boston is doing very well!!! He's so playful, and still has his extremely funny sense of humor!
we love him so much and can't wait to have his first Christmas!! Height wise he comes a little under my hip! So he's getting to be a big
boy!! We also found out that he might be half German Shepherd and Half Beagle!! So we don't think he's gonna be over 40 - 50 lbs. He's
already about 35!! And the vet said it seems that he was born sometime in December! So we made his birthday on Christmas!! :)
Here's some pictures of him!!! He's doing very well here and we feel so blessed to have him share our home with us! He fits right in!
Especially when he takes over our bed in the middle of the night! haha!! Thank you so much again for helping us with everything! Email
us anytime, and I hope your Holidays are great!!!
ps - he is such an angel in the car!!!! He goes right to sleep! So when we go to the Cape May house he has a blast down there!!! We will
try and take some more pictures over the holidays and send them your way!

Hi Jessica! Sunday, November 27, 2011 5:40 PM
This is Christine, Liz's daughter- we adopted Dolly a few weeks ago. I attached some pictures of her to this email for you. I am really
happy to report that Dolly is doing really well with us. She gets along great with everyone in the family, and she became really attached
to us very quickly. She barks and squeals when we come home, even if gone for a short while because she is so happy to see us! It
seems that she has a bit of the personality from all of our previous dogs that have passed on, so it is absolutely wonderful to have her
around. She loves to cuddle and follow us around the house. She still hasn't quite learned to sit on command yet- every time we say sit
she just barks back at us, as if saying "Just give me the treat!". She does like to jump up on her hind legs to reach up for things, it's
quite adorable! I don't think we could have picked a better dog for our family. Thank you so much for bringing her into our lives!
Also, I was hoping you could send me the pictures of what Dolly looked like when you first got her, I'd like to see the transformation!
Thank you,
Christine
